Returns & Guarantee

If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, within 30 days of delivery we’ll exchange it, issue store credit for the full value, or refund the merchandise price upon its return.

Personalized or special-order pieces will be replaced at no charge with similar pieces if we have made an error in your order.

If, within 3 days of purchase, you find any in-stock item offered by an authorized retailer of that brand at a lower price, we will gladly issue a store credit for the difference.

While we make every possible effort to photograph and describe our pieces accurately, some variations are beyond our control and cannot be guaranteed. Examples include:

  • Colors that may differ slightly due to monitor settings or description limitations
  • Border edges extending over prints where the glass is cut to fit the indicated size
  • Material variations due to hand manufacturing

If your project has critical tolerances or requires more than 12 pieces, please communicate your exact requirements by entering them into the “Special Instructions” field when placing your order, or by emailing Service@SendAFrame.com with a description of your needs, deadline, and/or problem to be solved. We will immediately review your request and respond quickly to help meet your deadline. This is especially important where natural-material frames will be hung or displayed together.

In order to keep our prices low and our costs controlled:

  • Special-order or discontinued items, or items returned without original packing materials, will incur a minimum 40% restocking fee.
  • Items returned in less than original condition may be subject to additional charges at the discretion of our Returns Supervisor.
  • Photographs, personalized items, custom-made pieces, and specially ordered pieces may not be returned for refund or credit of any kind.
  • Orders cancelled after 24 hours, while being serviced on time but through no fault of SendAFrame, are subject to a 20% handling and service charge.

Shipping & Deadlines

We know you are eager for your special frames, albums, and home décor gifts to arrive.

Your purchases can arrive as soon as the next day if needed.

All orders confirmed by our cart checkout as “Can Ship Today” will ship today.

We take deadlines very seriously—and we don’t leave until all orders for that day are processed, whenever possible.

6 Important Notes

  1. Be sure to choose the shipping method that ensures delivery by your required date.
  2. Include any special handling information in the Special Instructions box with your order.
  3. Orders are processed quickly to meet fulfillment deadlines. If you need to cancel an order after placing it, we will attempt to stop it. However, most in-stock orders ship within 24 hours and cannot be stopped once processed. Once you receive a tracking number, your order is on its way.
  4. Your addresses must be entered accurately so that FedEx can locate your delivery point. FedEx charges a $15 fee plus additional shipping costs for packages that require redirection (or return to us) due to incorrect addressing. Unfortunately, we must pass this fee on to you. Please enter your information carefully.
  5. Important: Orders for future ship dates valued over $200 that are subsequently cancelled by you after 2 business days—especially special-order items—are subject to a minimum cancellation fee of 20%. Exceptions will be evaluated individually if circumstances are beyond your control.
  6. Please order carefully! Order changes or cancellations of personalized or CustomCut orders already in progress (even if not yet completed) are subject to a minimum charge of 50% of the personalization cost for prep and handling. After 24 hours, your order is deemed authorized to proceed. Completed pieces (shipping the same day as your request) cannot be cancelled under any circumstances. Please check your work carefully before submitting.

After you place an order, you’ll receive two emails from SendAFrame: an Order Confirmation and a Shipping Confirmation (with tracking). You can also check Order Status & History any time in YOUR ACCOUNT.

Email #1 — Order Confirmation

  • Arrives within a few minutes of checkout.
  • Includes your order number, items, ship-to address, and totals.

All prints include professional touch-up and modification if desired. These are not “quick” photos—they are individually processed by our certified graphic art team to ensure the highest possible level of color accuracy and image sharpness from your digital files.

Product Details, Measurements & Viewable Area

We work hard to describe every SendAFrame piece clearly and accurately. Multiple photos are provided to show angles and finishes, but when there’s any discrepancy, the written description prevails—especially for measurements.

Description vs. Photos or Categories

  • The text description is authoritative for size and specs.
  • Photos are illustrative and may not show every detail or scale exactly.
  • Category groupings are for browsing convenience and may be generalized.

Understanding Frame Measurements

  • Overall Size: Outside dimension of the frame (edge to edge).
  • Display Opening / Photo Size: Nominal size the frame is designed for.
  • Viewable Area: What you actually see through the opening. A small lip overlaps the photo, so the viewable area is slightly smaller than the nominal size.
  • Depth / Material Thickness: Some frames won’t accept thick items (foam board, canvas, etc.).

If your print cannot be cropped (no “drop”) or your material is thick, please confirm display dimensions and depth with us before ordering.

Album Sizes & Mounting Notes

  • Albums are quoted by the manufacturer’s size of the album itself.
  • The spine and hinging can reduce margins and may not allow entire borders of prints to be mounted.

  • Our team is happy to research specs and confirm measurements for you.
  • Because description text prevails, SendAFrame is not liable for costs resulting from conflicting photos/categories versus the written specs, including supplier measurements that don’t match standard photo fitting exactly.

Sales tax

Sales Tax at SendAFrame & How to Place a Tax-Exempt Order

Applicable sales tax may be added to your order. Your cart will show tax after you enter a ZIP code, and the final amount is calculated at checkout based on the ship-to address and current rates.

How Sales Tax Is Calculated

  • Tax is determined by the destination ZIP code and complete shipping address.
  • Your cart updates with an estimate after ZIP; totals finalize on the checkout page.
  • Rates are applied according to applicable state and local tax rules for your delivery address.

Non-Profit / Tax-Exempt Orders

If you’re tax-exempt, enter your tax exemption number/code in the Special Instructions box at checkout. Our Order Processing team will review and, once approved, send an updated confirmation with sales tax removed.

Approvals typically occur during business hours. If tax appears on the initial confirmation, it will be adjusted once your exemption is verified.
